Gene Bluestein

This is an account of the memorial events so far.
Upon Gene's passing, the Bluesteins presented rememberances in word and song Saturday, September 7, 2002, at the Satellite Student Union, California State University. Since then there have been four Gene Bluestein Memorial Concerts.

The First Memorial Concert featured Sweet Honey In the Rock in Fresno's Warnor's Theatre.

The Second Memorial Concert featured Jean Ritchie (with The Bluesteins) and The Richard Hagopian Ensemble.

The Third Memorial Concert featured Joel, Evo, Frayda, and Jemmy Bluestein, October 6, 2006, Tower Theatre, Fresno, CA.

The 4th Gene Bluestein Memorial Concert featured Peggy Seeger, October 4, 2008, Unitarian Church, Fresno, CA.
